Sketches for ideation. I used Eichberg hall, SCAD museum, Gulfstream, Library, and Wallin for inspiration.
Orthographics for the kiosk based off of Eichberg Hall. I used similar materials of dark brick, dark wood, black paint, as well as architectural details. I also descided to make it functional as well, allowing seating for students on the front. The back includes an LED screen for general SCAD information and news, a large panic button, lights and a security camera on top.
Second kiosk I designed was for the SCAD museum of art. I based design off of the display feature of the museum and the materials in its construction. It features four LED display screens so that different SCAD events, news, student work, and current artist on display information can be accessed. Large panic buttons, and security cameras. The top inside displays current artist exhibiting work, with interior lights.
